What’s the priority in my reno?

So recently I’ve been asked, “what do you think is the best thing to update in my home?” Well, when it comes to updating an older home the order of priorities is always up to the homeowner.

In my opinion, the popcorn ceiling removal should be the top priority and is most impactful, it not only dates the home but aesthetically it is the first thing people see.

The second thing would be removing unnecessary dividing walls, any drop down soffits and ceilings to create the largest open floor plan as possible.

The third but not least would be outdated wallpaper removal and texture which can significantly update any home project.

So whether or not you complete one or all three projects remember a fresh coat of paint can change any environment and is a cheaper update if you’re on a limited budget.
